Skype calls

Last Wednesday our class made ​​an excellent activity, we had the opportunity to talk with other students. I talked with two guys Alfred and Tamara, they have nineteen, Alfred is studying medicine and is from California, Tamara is studying history and she is from Virginia.

We talked for thirty minutes in Spanish, where we talked about the mountains in Ecuador, the different places they visited also told me about the places you would like to visit, another subject was when we talked about our favorite movies where I told them I like movies of terror, but they do not like these types of movies because Tamara told me that with these movies she always has nightmares, Alfred told me that prefer to watch comedy or action movies.

 

Thirty minutes after we started talking in English where we started talking about our favorite music then we started talking about our favorite sports; Alfred told me that his favorite sport is football I thought we were talking about soccer then I said that too is my favorite sport, but when he began to talk about the rules I did not understand and I realized it was not soccer, then I said that sport was boring and Alfred was angry because he said me it was the most popular sport in his country, then I apologized and changed the subject. 

 

In conclusion it was a nice experience and a nice way to meet new people especially because they are of a different culture.
