Skype Pal

 

Last Wednesday I spoke with a guy from the United States again, he is from Nebraska who wants to be a doctor and is 19 years old. We spoke in Spanish at first, where we talked about our favorite food and our family he said he has three brothers and he was the older brother. We also talked about the countries we visited, the most interesting thing was that he lived in Turkey for a year.

 

 

After thirty minutes we started talking in English where he began to talk Halloween, he said that the most common in your country is dress up and trick or treating, for adolescents the most common is to go to parties, but he said has not planned anything because he has to study for a test.

 

 

Then we started talking about the day of the dead where he asked me several questions, one of the questions was    do you like the Day of the Dead? I said that only for "colada morada and guaguas de pan" where he said he would like to eat that food he asked me too, if I practice sports, I told him that I play soccer on weekends, he said he also likes the soccer and practiced it daily, also asked me if I like watching soccer and my favorite team which is? I responded I like to see the Champions League and the Premiership and my favorite team is Manchester United he told me also loves the champions but his favorite team is Barcelona.

 

 

In conclusion I really enjoyed this conversation but I had to pay much attention to understand and respond to the questions that he performed, I realized how much I knew about english, and when I have another skype pal I will be better prepared and practicing my vocabulary to talk without problems and to understand more or bettler.
