Since its inception in these countries, wrestling has evolved differently in each.The senior figures of professional wrestling become celebrities or popular icons. Although wrestling began with small acts in circuses and carnivals, today it is an industry that generates billions of dollars. Revenues come from ticket sales, television, merchandising and more. Recently, webcasting and other methods are also used. Also, wrestling pioneered making the pay-per-view source. Events like WrestleMania, Bound for Glory and Royal Rumble are the biggest PPV of each year.Currently, the largest professional wrestling is the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), based in the United States. This company is famous for having absorbed smaller companies, like the extinct World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling.
RulesIn professional wrestling there are several ways to win, such as Pinfall, Surrender, Disqualification, 10 KO or Account Outside the ring (in Japan and Mexico is 20). In the U.S. and Japan is one fall, which may be with or without time limit. In Mexico it is to win two of three falls with no time limit.

WWEThe World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE simply is wrestling association better known worldwide. It has a great reputation because of their years of experience and the "superstars" who have gone through it. The current owner of this company is Vincent Kennedy McMahon.The WWE is divided into two main programs; Raw Supershow and SmackDown!, Which are transmitted Monday and Friday, respectively. Furthermore the currently transmitted WWE PPV events 12 that are transmitted through the system Pay Per View, approximately once a month.
WWE currently has 6 championships. (WWE Championship, U.S. Championship, Divas Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship, WWE Tag Team Championship).
