Joost ,the Dutchman ,is a very kind person, who is always thoughtful and considerate .He has a problem that most of the people had suffered at least one time; he is ashamed about his body. His feelings are confronted because, however he is a person who enjoys eating he is having problems with his weight. And this problem is the reason why he is walking across a part of Europe by following “ El Camino” ,which is an spiritual trip that the people from different parts of the world decide to do in order to find themselves .But his reason doesn’t have to be confused with just a physical problem , there are a lot of others emotional  crisis that could be created because of this single discomfort .Maybe he is insecure and unhappy sometimes because of it.

He is like an open book ,his personality is really clear as the water and peaceful .Many people would say that he is a dump , but I think that he is naive ,as a child, I really like him because he remains me a good friend  ,who now is far away . I said that he is like a book because it is really easy to know what he is thinking about , his gestures are really expressive, and it is good for me because I think that it is easy to identify what kind of feeling does a person has just looking to his eyes.
